The Internet Is Falling Apart - Joe Marconi

On the surface it seems the internet is falling apart. More junk pages are created everyday and why? I'm guilty of creating sites and pages in an effort to earn revenue, I have nearly one hundred domains with some form of content or mission all in an effort to earn affiliate income. It really is a load of crap. I have 5 sites that are real. I mean really real, with prime content and great functionality. They are community and service based. I got out of e-commerce a while ago when I got sick of eBay earning more money on my sales then I was, so I trashed my e-commerce sites (that were supported mostly by eBay sales) and started building what I call 'Domain Billboards'. I build sites that have some content (but not too much) and fill the gaps with advertising. Why do I complain? My sites are surfer friendly - no pop-ups, no junk, no spyware etc. Other sites out there are making life hell, go on an advertising click spree on any ad delivery program (other then major ad companies like Google) and try and find a real site, it really is just all crap. If you go searching for porn you'll find that at a point you may need to reboot your computer to stop the pop-ups. I don't build sites like that and never would, there isn't any integrity in it. I'll give you something for time, and it'll be something you want, something you expect, if a few people in a hundred click on my advertising units on those sites I may be able to cover the cost of hosting them and occasionally a bit more. My sites would be a lot more successful if the idiots buying china traffic and selling pop-up traffic would just get a real job or build real sites. All the crap around here drives me crazy and others as well. BUILD SITES WITH CONTENT!
